  1. What about using a remote control program like VNC? It allows you to remotely view and control a PC from the iPad. You would have to be in range of a WiFi network, and you would still need to have a laptop connected to the diagnostics port and running the Durametric software, but you would be wirelessly using your iPad to interact with it. I have only today ordered a Durametric cable, so I don't know for sure, but theoretically this should work.
  2. Hi, I've got 80K miles on a 2000 Boxster S. Lately it's seems to me that the car bounces more over bumpy roads, where before it might have been more compliant. Also it seems to roll just a bit in corners where it used to be flat. But the changes have been so subtle that I can't be sure. What can I do to determine if suspension components are worn or wearing down? What tends to wear out first in these cars? The car is used mostly on highways, but I do have a 10 mile stretch of twisty road each way in my commute (Highway 17, for those of you familiar with the SF Bay Area). I saw on other posts that there can be thunking and other noises, but I don't have those. I do have a steering wheel shimmy, but this is because of a dented wheel. I know this is a pretty open-ended question, but still I thought I'd post and see what people have to say. Then I suppose I'll go to my dealer and ask them, but I'd sure like to be more knowledgeable before I do that. Thanks in advance for any input.
