  1. I recently had the Tequipment roll bar installed, and now do not need the rear seats. Regrettably, my installer didn't remove the rear seats, and now I'm trying to figure out how to pull them out. Any insight into removing these seats would be appreciated. Thank you very much!

locate the center plastic cover between the two rear seat backs. Pry it up from the front of the piece at the base. Locate the two plastic covers on the side brackets. They're supposed to slide down but they don't really do very well. You can generally pry then off with a flat head without breaking them. Remove all three screw with a torx driver. The seat bottoms are velcroed in, so just pull.

Let me know if there are any points I can clarify.

  2. I'm getting it done tomorrow. I've been told on my other cars not to roll down the windows for a few days. How will the "auto-down-a-half-inch" affect this? Also, how can the installer lay the tint if the window is down? I'm thinking for the install, he might have to pull the battery before he opens the door so the window stays up.

I hope my two questions are clear enough. Is there a way, through the car's existing software, to disable this option?

    Thanks,

    SVTH

  3. I have just over 5k on mine but have been winding it up pretty hard for the last 2.5, including a day of AutoX. I've had two oil changes so far. I'm guessing once I'm past the 2k mark, I'm good to go?

  4. Hi! :)

I'm the proud owner of an '07 997 TT since June 13th. The only "mods" have been smoked front ambers, smoked 3rd brake light, and a hardwired V1.

At any rate, I've been trying to find out how the plastic covers on the hinges for the rear seat backs come off so I can access the bolts. Anybody know? I started prying at them gently, but nothing. I didn't want to get too rough and break one.

    Thanks, in advance.
