  1. No mechanical changes to the drivetrain. I installed what they call "power pedal" that increases throtle response.
  2. I have decided to transform the looks and the sound of my 2008 Cayenne. If you need more info let me know.
  3. Hi all, Recently I brought from the USA my Cayenne S and I would like to use the NAVTEQ Europe DVDs. Will they work with my DVD player or do I have to buy an adaptor? Thank you, Dnenes
  4. Loren, if you have Cayenne S with air suspention will the Turbo cluster definetaly work? Except the "Bar" indication i guess. Thank you. Demetris
  5. Sucks... and this is happening because you don't have the air suspension option on your car. Hope you resolve this problem soon.
  6. Hi Mark, Can you please explain what is the "Bar" indication of the turbo cluster showing now? Thanks
  7. Congrats! This is going to be my next upgrade. On the right sideof the Turbo cluster there is a "bar" gauge. Can you please tell me what is that indicating on the Cayenne S? Is it non functional because the Cayenne S has an atmospheric engine? Thanks
  8. Part number of the Padded (thicker) Steering Wheel is 955 044 400 01 5Z3. Please note that the last part (5Z3) indicates that the wheel is black. If you need other colors please look it up with your dealer.
  9. Yeah I love it. Great feeling - nothing like the standard. I bought it from my dealer, and installed it my self. Make sure you disconnect the battery. Otherwise you will have to take it to the dealer to reset the airbag light. There are instructions in this forum. Look it up. Easy to do. Just make sure you disconnect the battery before you do so.
  10. Hi all, Just wanted to share with you some pictures of the lighted sills I installed on my Cayenne. Istalation was easy, but of course a bit tricky when I did the first one.
  11. ust wanted to share some pictures of the new steering wheel. Looks and feel great. My only problem is that the airbag light is still on! Any advice would be appreciated.
  12. Thanks for the info!!! I swapped the wheel today and I have to admit that the thicker wheel is awesome!!! I only have a small issue with my airbag now - the airbag light stays on in the cluster. Whel I removed the airbag I did not disconnect the battery, so I am thinking maybe that is the problem. I am thinking that if I disconnect the battery now, maybe I will reset this fault. What do you think? PS1: I am pretty sure that I connected the airbag correctly as I checked the connections twice. PS2: How do I disconnect the battery? I have been looking in this forum, but I can't find clear directions. Any help would be GREATLY APPRECIATED!!!!
  13. Hi all, I just bought the thicker steering wheel for my 2008 Cayenne S. I would like to ask you guys what tools do I need to replace existing wheel. My understanding is that I need to: 1) Remove the airback - For that I need to disconnect the battery. 2) Remove the bolt that hold down the wheel. For this I need a special wrench but I have no idea which one. Can you please advise which one and where to find it? Thank you.
  14. They come in a set of two. I paid about $450 but i got a discount as they were part of a larger order.
  15. Hi, I can't see why it won't work with any Bluetooth phone as there is only one communication protocol.
  16. Hi all, I am thinking of doing the following mods: Fabspeed Cayenne Maxflo Cat Back Exhaust $2195 Fabspeed Secondary Cat Delete Pipes $680 BMC Air Filters (2) $180 PES Porsche Cayenne S 4.8L Software Upgrade $1995 Installation Labor (Welding Required For Exhaust Install) $750 Shipping (exhaust, filters, ECU overnight x2) $100 Build Total w/Tax $6,254.00 The shop that will do the work has advised that I will be gaining around 65HP. Is there anything I should be aware before going for these changes? I have a 2008 Cayenne S with 385 HP default so the extra 65HP + the significant noise modification should be pretty good. Any feedback would be greatly appreciated.
  17. Hi Spiro, I have a 2008 Cayenne S and I suprised my self the first time the oil light came on. Driving a bit aggressively I add a quart about every 1000 miles i do. Hope this helps. Brgs, Demetris
  18. I just installed the NavTV unit it was a bit expensive about $900 cost+labor. I am using it with my iphone and I find that it is working out great. Need to get used to the intereface a bit. I had my connector in the center compartment rather that the glob box which is the standard install. This way you can also use the phone as well. Let me know if anyone wants to see photos.
  19. I went to the dealership yesterday to ask questions about the PCM 3.0 version. The sales person showed me a 2009 Cayenne that had the new PCM. Looks really nice - but to be honest I liked the Navigation software the best. Do you know if you can install the new navigation software to the PCM2.1 system?
