  1. From what I understand, use the battery maintainer even if you are not going to be driving for just a few days. I recently purchased one of the Battery Minder Plus versions which also de-sulphonates the battery. Over a period of a couple of days, it fully charged the battery and then began the de-sulphonation cycle. It does seem like my battery is stronger. And it is easy to use (cigarette lighter adapter). Regards, Kirk
  2. Could the TSB also apply to cars without the PCM? I don't have that option. I just had the CDR-220. Although, I recently had a sweet system put in with a Kenwood double DIN touchscreen Nav unit with iPod and Bluetooth Phone integration. Two 8" JL Audio subs in a custom enclosure behind the rear seats, focal speakers and an incredible Alpine Amp up front. Plus they sound dampened the doors and the car is really tight now. They even put in a rear backup camera. The clock has been running slow since at least 2003 when I got the car from a friend, and I think he said it was always slow too, but he just never dealt with it. I have 70,000 miles on her, and she is a runner. I do think the switch is the culprit on the Litronics. Kirk
  3. Hey there, I am new to the board. I have done searches on both of these topics and found nothing. I have a 99 C2 coupe (US). I have two weird problems. 1) My clock (the digital one in the instrument cluster) is slow. You can set it for the right time and then it gradually loses time. It is a "slow leak" for lack of a better phrase, but it is very annoying. Any thoughts? 2) Recently, when I flip my headlight switch on, my litronics don't always go on. Sometimes they lightly flicker and I have to flip the switch back and forth several times to get them to "light up." I think it may just be a bad switch which needs replacing. Any other thoughts? If it is the switch, it appears to be #31 on the various schematics associated with the driver's side vent housing. Perhaps a part number if available? It looks easy enough to replace. Thanks for the great info in the forums. I think I can finally fix my "Ferry's Ghost" sunroof which likes to back up on it's own if I am not "helping it along" with my knuckles. I will try Loren's re-teaching thing tomorrow (I guess later today since it is 2:30 AM). Regards, Kirk Bellevue, WA
