  1. Loren, Thanks for the quick reply, just the left and right exhaust turbos. Thanks again. Steve
  2. Do any of you guys have access to the part # for a GT2 turbo aka K24? Thanks in advance. Steve
  3. Hi, Can someone kindly give me the part # for a complete 996TT engine with the x50 performance package. Thanks,
  4. Hi, Can anyone tell me what are the visual differences from a X50 turbo versus a non X50 equipped car. What do I look for when I open the hood? Also can someone tell me what the part # is for a X50 motor only. Thanks in advance..
  5. I had the same problem. One of the guys, I think Scouser suggested changing the pins that are attached to the top. They fit into the windshield frame. A new updated part that will work on a 99. Not sure of the part #'s. It was a brilliant idea as it has solved all of my rattles. Get a tube of BMW gummi pfedge and wipe it around the seals. Your car will be silent.
  6. Hey Dale, A few weeks ago I bought a hardtop from Champion Porsche in Florida. Found them on ebay. The top including crated shipping to CA was $1,100 pretty reasonable. Call them and see what they will do for you. The top only weighs approx 70 lbs and the crate weighed over 300 lbs. The way they crate and ship makes a huge difference. Mine was perfect not a scratch. Cheers, Steve
  7. Thanks Loren, I will let you know on Monday. Is it easy or should I leave it up to the dealer? Steve
  8. I am going to replace the levers for the trunk and engine lid, they are scuffed! I am talking about the levers that are on the left side of the drivers seat. Any advice on how to go about this? Thanks Steve
  9. Loren or Jeff, Do either of you guys have the part #'s for that little black plastic cap that fits onto the tabs? Appreciate it. Steve
  10. Loren, Just reinstalled the factory air filter, disconnected the battery and problem cleared itself. I must have had an airleak?? Thanks for all the help again and again!! :)
  11. Hi Loren, Well today I got the dredded check engine light. I'm going to reinstall the factory filter tonight. Do you know how I shut off the check engine light? If it trips again I'll take it to the dealer and have it looked at. Thanks, Steve
  12. Thanks Loren!! I knew I'd get the right answer here. Thanks for all the invaluable information and for a kick *** site!! Steve
  13. I just replaced the stock air filter with one from K&N. One question is the hose that attaches to the throttle body. I noticed a black plastic screen and a fine mesh metal screen. I removed them both, should I have left them in place? Does it make any difference? Just seemed to me they were restricting airflow? Any opnions or advice is appreciated. Steve
