  1. my opinion +1 for Scott +1 for ADias -1 for the shop that recommended the change but a lot of them do that.
  2. I did have that 60% of the time with my older 2007 997 C2S but not anymore since I've changed to a new 2009 C4S, also manual. And YES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! blXXdy annoying..... Nothing wrong with my '09 C4S but it only has 1100km on the clock (around 700 miles) .... So you may want to ask your Porsche dealer to change the whole clutch under warranty. I've had my 07 C2S looked at before too but the Porsche guys have a habit of brushing off issues as a "Porsche experience". I know how annoying it is so I think it would be worth the while to try to get Porsche to replace the whole tranny box and clutch under warranty. I've had my old 2003 C4S tiptronic tranny replaced twice under warranty before on some tranny oil leaks... That was like 60 Grand worth of parts and labor out here in Korea for FREE!!!!!! Also ask for a courtesy-loan-a-car when your car's in service - tell them you're addicted to porsches and cannot drive anything else! Always works for me. Cheers.
  3. Thanks Loren, SA321 My question as well. I have blutooth connection (it connects to my phone ok with secure passcode etc...) but cannot get PCM to work as a phone. The message on the PCM screen is something like "Telephone module not installed"... All I want to do is use my 3G phone through blutooth. Any ideas? Apologies for the late reply. Thanks Jungwook.
  4. Anyone. What are the parts required to install the telephone option on a 997.2 (09) C4S with PCM3 and blutooth. I've verified that Blutooth works (it's connects to my phone) and the microphone seems to be there on the steering column. Are there any physical parts to this option ? or is it just a matter of settings through PIWIS? The option price of 1 million Korean Won (around US$900) suggests it's more than a PIWIS setting but when I asked my OPC for actual part numbers - I could sense he was trying very hard to avoid the question suggesting that it was just a PIWIS setting change. Can anyone confirm this? HELP~~~~~~~~~ JW from Korea.
  5. Hard Porsche workshop look into it... changed the sunroof motor Now works fine. Wallet a lot slimmer though. Good luck
  6. I have the exact same symptoms. I've tried reprogramming (works for a minute or two), I've looked for dust etc... around the switch itself but in vain... Did anyone come up with a quick reason / solution on this issue aside from going into service and replacing the whole control/switch/motor lot? Please advise. JW
  7. Anyone please help... Is there a quick way of replacing the OEM power amp (CDR 23 -MOST) to a Bose version? Can I expect a dramatic improvement in Sound Quality? From looking at second hand pictures of Bose MOST Amps for 996, the interfaces looked different. Has anyone done this before? Please let me know. Thanks. JW
