  1. Prestone makes the following claim on their website. So I'm a little puzzled. "Prestone® Extended Life Antifreeze/Coolant is compatible with ANY antifreeze/ coolant – regardless of color – for use in ALL makes and models of cars and light duty trucks"
  2. I seen a few topic discussions around coolant. For my 2004 CS which has always been maintained by dealer with Porsche coolant. Just recently I accidentally topped up the coolant reservoir (around 2 liters) with Prestone Long Life. I'm not too sure if I need to be worried and do I need have a complete coolant flush. These coolants seem to be compatible. Any thoughts? Thanks Phunder
  3. I receive a warning alert now again which reads "Check Dipped Beam". When I restart the CS04, the lights reset and everything appears fine. Do I need to replace anything or is this a faulty connection in the headlamp unit or something else. Any advise is welcomed.
  4. Unfortunately, the glasses' rim got wedged on the release button - I needed to push hard to open. In doing, not only did the button drop out but also some black plastic bits. At the moment the button is push back in to keep the compartment shut but it's not functional. I guess a replacement button or a new compartment or leave it "as is" - any help in this area. Thanks Phunder
  5. I've accidentially broken the release button for the sunglass compartment. Does anyone know how easy is it to repair or can share a diagram that would help. thanks Phunder
  6. On my 04 Cayenne S I've notice that sometimes the main head lamps would flicker very slightly - doesn't happen all the time just now and again - and to no particular light. On two occasions I saw a warning for "dripping blub". The whole gets reset when I restart. It's not a driving problem - more ignoring than anything else. Is there a quick fix .i.e. reprogramming? Thanks for anyfeed.
  7. I need to replace the windsheild on my Cayenne S 04. The stone chip is right in front of vision on the road - the chip repair was a good job because of it location it is definitely a distraction. Porsche is quoting be double ($800) of another companies that deals will windsheild as their core business. The other company is AMCO in the Toronto area will use the same window as Porsche. My question is - is there any technial or any other reason why I should go the Porsche dealership for this fairly simple job. Your comments are most welcome. Thanks Phunder
  8. Mike - it's definitely not a sqeak sqeak noise (thank god, these things could cost an arm and leg), it's more of a gentle air flow noise. But good thought. RFM - cabin pressure sounds right. I'll take your suggestion of adding tape to give a better seal. If it works and the tape is not visible then that be ideal otherwise I need to replace the rubber. Excellent online support. thanks Phunder
  9. Cayenne S 04 My little girl noticed a gentle but annoying noise coming from around the passenger pillow vent - kids are good on picking these little details to drive us mad. Here's the strange thing - the noise is not the vent, only hear it when all doors are closed - if any of the doors are open or the air fan is not on there's no noise. Also, if the back passenger door is very slowly shut (push gently to close) - there's no noise. The sealing rubber looks fine. Does anyone have any suggestions? Cheers Phunder
