  1. OK. So seems to be the EGR valve? How is this mounted to the heat changer? It is not clear from any parts diagram I am looking at how it is mounted. Is there some good diagram available somewhere?
  2. I am working on the exhaust system and there is a type of sensor, I think, that is attached to one of the heat exchangers. I cannot identify this part and don't know how to go about to repair/replace it. As you can see the part is partly broken off the hear exchanger. Can someone help me with advice on how to go about fixing this? I will need to take the complete exhaust system off anyways. Are there any other parts I should be looking at replacing. Help appreciated.
  3. Since I could not find any documentation on the Mass Airflow Sensor on my 1984 Carrera and I was curious to see how it looks inside I opened it up to see how it looks. Is there any detailed information available on this part? One screw had a red dot on it so I assume there is some issue with opening it up. Can you just screw it back on or is there anything special with it once you take it apart?
