  1. Hey guys. I had the same CEL , I looked at the gas cap cause I can clearly see the cracks on the rubber ring of the cap. Now I got new caps and still coming back. When I open the cap to fill the gas there is no sucking sound. I guess there is a large leak based on what I've seen. Any suggestion on where to start? Any suggestion is appreciated. Thanks in advance guys. -Han
  2. Thanks mtorr. I'll try it out. From the pics it looks like your tank is already out of it's place and did u just needed to remove the injection valves to take it out or you need to remove the injection valves to get to the point in the pic. Again thanks for the info. -Han
  3. Folks I am trying to pull out my old tank and seems like it's much longer than the ones in the pictures above. Th new one is similar to the ones in the pic. Mine is a 01 C2 and looks like it still has the one from day one. It feels like something is still attached at the back of the tank (towards the front of the car). So i am kinda stuck . I've already removed everything like this post said and any help is appreciated. -Han
  4. I was driving home today and all of a sudden the CEL came on and the engine started to run sluggish... feels like the some plugs are not firing... also feels like something electrical... car engine sound like missing plugs and other then that the rest still sounds good and no leaks or any unusual things observed. I bought it a year back as porsche certified pre-own so i still have warranty.... never deal with warranty and would appreciate it if you folks can give me some tips suggestions or just anything... thanks in advance guys.. I am freaking out now.. :(
  5. Hey guys .. i have a question.. i was looking at the receipt and it mentioned they used BG full synthetic oil.. I haven't used this brand before and I forgot to mention to use Mobil 1 like I always do. I asked the guy at the service center and mentioned it's better than mobil 1 .. since I haven't used it before I don't really know what to say.. any of you guys have used BG before? Any input is appreciated ... should I drain and fill it again with mobil 1?? Thanks, Hph
  6. Intersport is good....if you want to head out to Manassas, there's Convenience Car Sales, as well. I've tried both sites at some minor level and they both seem pretty good and responsive. i went to convenience car sales this morning and happy with the service. thanks again for all the responses.
  7. Thanks a lot guys.. really appreciate it... I'll try to call them up
  8. Hi All.. does any of you guys know a good trustworthy indie porsche specialist in northern VA area? Thanks in advance... Hph
  9. Hi Guys, My 996 is getting close to 45k and thinking about changing oil and doing the 45k service but 45k service description show nothing really special ... should i skip the 45k service and just change the oil? Any suggestion is appreciated. Thanks, Hph
