  1. I splurged for the Cayman wheels, that bolted directly onto my 2005 Boxster S. I much prefer the looks, and agree about compromise of 18 vs 19 inch. One added benefit: the Cayman wheels are MUCH easier to clean.
  2. One more issue: remote mounting is not advised for the thin, micro-chip style tags. I tried the location below the wiper cover and it did not work. A web search turned up documents that suggest the thin tags need to be directly on the glass which somehow functions as antennae focus. When I mounted the tag on the windshield it did work. 3. This may be a dumb question, but does the 986 series spare tire work on the 987 series? Bob K 2005 Boxster S
