  1. sent you a pm call me asap thanks a bunch.
  2. Well thanks for all the help, Found it was the cv-joint in the axle that caused the problem, havent taken it off yet but at least i dont got to rip out the trans. one more thing though, would anyone know where to get a cheap axle. dealers wanted close to 700 for it. Ebay was two hundred but i had to wait a week for shiping. and the parts stores around hear say dealer only. Im in he chicago area by the way. thanks Brad,
  3. sorry ive been out for a couple days, ill be checking it out on tuesday im hopin its just a cv joint. ill let you gues know what going on. thanks for the replies. thanks,
  4. Alright so i was heading over to the body shop to get a scratch fixed when i go to shift into second and there is no gear. What i mean is that it shifts fine and goes into gear but when i release the clutch nothing happens. I had to tow it with my buddies car today to my house and even in nuetral the car would make a knocking clunking noise. When I started it in my driveway and try to move forward in first or any gear the car just makes a strang soft clucky noise and doesnt go anywhere. I was thinking maybe the trans or clutch, but i was also thiking a cv joint. Im going to try and look at it tommarow or this weekend, has anyone ever experienced this or have heard of this. I Do my own work so if there are any other ideas please let me know. Thanks, Brad
  5. well i got the water/alch injection on my talon and i love it going to be able to boost about 27 this summer. but 4.5psi seems like nothing not even in the 300's yet. I got a couple turbos and intercoolers layin around. Theres plenty of room in this thing. I also got a couple secondary injection harnesses with everything layin around garage so thats what i was planning on doing. Or just go with like an autronics complete standalone ecu but thats pricy. I talked to a couple shops around me and they said that you cant run piggy backs on these, at least not from their knowledge. Like vw &audi there ecu's with overun the piggy back system. So i think giac said they could mabey come up with something. And maybe run secondary injection to take care of the fuel. I wanted to make a twin turbo setup though (at least thats what i was planning) but what ever works easiest is alright for me. would you know the companies that made those kit. id like to take a look at what there using thanks, Brad
  6. well i now they got these for the vr6(VW) motor. im trying to fab together a turbo kit for my boxter. Now iver heard that they have high comp. and have attendency to blow under boost. so i figured if my buddy can machine a head spacer for me i might be able to work somethine out besides getting a rebuild or a turbo motor swap. Let me now if any of you have heard of this being done. do you think timing would be a big issue. Ive had this thing for about 4 years now and i havent found much information on any turbo kit besides ones that are $20k. Im not woried about fitment or anything else because ill be making all my own parts. I am worried about tunning but ive heard of a few places that i might be able to get that done. if you guyes now anything on this let me know. thanks   :)
