  1. What's that? If that the system they use to pull the codes, I think the challenge we had is that the warning had gone away wen they tested it, so they weren't seeing anything. Regards Steve
  2. Morning, Looking for some help on this oddball issue with the oil sensor. Car is fine and driving normally. Get an error message on the display that reads "Oil Level Measurement Error - Workshop." At the same time, the oil temperature gauge goes to 0. A few minutes later the indicator goes off, and the gauge returns to normal. Obviously there is some commonality here, as the two are tied together. Deal indicated that the oil temp sensor, and the oil level sensor, are two different things but obviously if there are (which I'm not sure is the case), then they tie in together somehow because these two issues are 100% tied together. Any advice would be great, as I don't want to do the trial and error thing at 100/hour. Regards Steve
  3. Problem solved. I did a hard key reset, holding the lock/unlock button on the keyfob for 10 seconds while the key was in the on position. THanks to all for that suggestion. Regards Steve
  4. Went out this morning for a ride and my entire PCM system is being weird! No sound whatsoever...radio, CD, Navigation...NOTHING. NAV button indicates "Navigation CD Unreadable." Eject it, put it back in, and it reads it. System is reading the CD changer. Selecting a CD, and playing it, but no volume at all from CD Changer or Radio. Any ideas would be so appreciated. Regards Steve
  5. I'm trying to remove the ashtray and for th elife of me I can't figure out how. I got the inside black piece out but not the whole sliding portion. I need to get it out to do an XM radio install. I though this would be easy, but posted in in several forums to no avail Regards Steve
  6. On my 04 Cayenne TT I want to put my XM Radio Roady 2 unit it the ashtray space....but I can't figure out how to get the darn ashtray to come out.... I got the inside black piece...to come out...but I can't get the "drawer" itself out. Am I missing something???? Any ideas welcome!! Regards Steve
  7. Greetings everyone. What a wonderful forum you guys have here. I'm thrilled to find folks who've already spearheaded the solutions to all the questions that I know will come up. I picked up my 2004 Cayenne Turbo last week. The purchase itself was a horror show, and I imagine the BBB will be getting involved soon ( see My P-Dealer Nightmare Story for details) but the car has been just phenomenal !! I'm in love !! I know I'm going to have many questions that you guys can help with, and I hope to be able to offer the same to you. For example, after 2 weeks of trying, I actually found THREE manufacturer sources for 20" snow tires, and Tre Rack is on the job trying to get them in from Dunlop, Pirelli, and Continental. More info shortly....but prices for the 20" Pirelli Ice and Snows at $209. Let's see.... I washed the car yesterday (again) and sprayed water under the rear spoiler to get the suds out, and now my radio reception is messed up? Any ideas welcome... On my radio, I must have pushed a button I should have. The other day, it was telling me the "radio Station" PLUS the name of the artist and song. Now I only get the station. Dying to add Sat. Radio without ripping the car apart, and wokring on ideas for radar detector install, again without ripping the car apart. Looking to add a rear view camera and tie it into the A/V button... All that good stuff! Any comments or help welcome and offered. Regards Steve Levine
