  1. I was wondering if anyone could recommend a good place to have winter tires installed on my 2008 C2S Cab. I can get Nokian WR's delivered to me from Tires by Web,but don't have an installer yet. My Porsche dealership won't install tires ordered from elsewhere and wants to sell me a set of Pirelli 240's for a ridiculous price. I live in Riverdale,N.Y 10471. Thanks in advance for all help. 2. I just got (12/15/08) a 2008 C2S Cab,well equipped, MSRP $109,940 US for $97,350 US. Dealers cost $96,350 US. Hope this helps.
  3. I think I posted this Q. in the wrong forum previously. Please excuse a Newbie's mistake: (:@( 13 Dec 2007 Read Topic SirfStar III Chipset Hi: I am a new member. I used to own a 1966 911...back in the day. I now have a 2008 Carrera S Cab, with Nav and the extended Nav module. I wondered if my car's Nav system uses the SirfStar III Chipset. The dealer did not know. This is an advanced chipset that greatly outperforms earlier ones, both in speed and processing power. It generally permits a faster lock and more sensitive reception. Most quality GPS receivers now incorporate iterations of this chipset. However,I have been unable to determine if my new car's Nav system uses this chipset. Does anyone know? Thanks!
