  1. Tried the re-training it didn't help. Where is the micro switch fitted and how bad a job is it to change. Could a DIY'er like myself fix it? Regards, Neil
  2. Went into work this morning and when I closed the door on the car the window had already gone up? If I pull the handle inside or outside the window goes down a fraction like it should, but if I let go of the handle the window pops up even with the door still open. This is not correct, so now I have to shut the door with the handle up and synchronize letting go of the handle when the door is in the correct position. Any ideas to what has happened? What have I broken? Regards, Neil
  3. Hi all, I'm after a little bit of help. I've settled on a car for the track and decided on a 944 turbo s. Really I would like one with LSD and mo30 options. I have seen one for sale but it is not local. I would like to know if anyone can tell me the list of option fitted in the factory via the information I have received below. Loren has done this on my current car for me, but this car is a lot older so I'm not sure if it is possible. Chassis No:WP0222(orZZZ)952JN101619 Engine No:M44 752 471J01423 Engine type AOR Any help would be greatly appreciated, Kind regards, Neil
  4. Thats exactly what it sounds like, but it was constant so could not be just dripping out. No water on the floor either.
  5. Do they hiss? Sounded like a tyre going down..... Erm hang on I'll just check they are still up! Firthy
  6. Hi all, Just been out for a blast and during cool down within the garage I noticed a loud hissing noise coming from the rear of the car, it seemed to be underneath. Any idea what it could be, anyone else have any experience with this? Regards, Firthy
  7. Hi being a newbie to the site and only just starting with my 911 ownership, I would like to praise this message board for all the help and info on here. I'm a member of another forum on one of the UK sites but whilst being very friendly and helpful is not a patch technically on this forum. Extended thanks go out to Loren as he seems to be an amazing source of information. I have read nearly every post now on here and I'm sure you will all agree that his help/contribution on here is priceless. He really helped me out the other night when I had a major panic on! (see older threads) I was also not a contributing member at that point, but he still was willing to help regardless of this. Anyhow all that remains now is to wish you all a very merry christmas and a happy new year. Regards, Neil (Still waiting for a dry day  ) :renntech:
  8. Hi newbie on here from the uk. I need help. I've just bought a 02 turbo advertised as having the x50 upgrade. I have had it nearly a week now and am very pleased with the car. I am thinking now though that the car has been advertised wrongly and has not got the X50 option. How can I tell for certain that it is or it isn't, I've checked the option codes and there is no x50 on there. Its currently running at 1.0 on the boost. Any help welcome. Regards, Neil
