987 Seat belt replacement done

Ok dumb and lazy question, but how much were the belts themselves? What a HUGE improvement for a brief amount of time on the install. Just curious how much pain to the wallet! Helps when looking at used, or pre-spec cars that need a minor change to improve the appearance and seal the deal! -
987 Instrument Gauge Removal

Did anyone ever try the 997 cluster in the 987? Most curious as the lack of instrumentation has always bothered me on the 987! -
Having done this on a variety of vehicles in the past, they can either be REALLY straightforward, or as mentioned above an expensive nightmare. It is imperative to mark, label, etc. during disassembly. I would ALWAYS suggest at least locating a local speedo shop prior to taking it apart. Worst case you can drop it off with them to correct your errors. Hard to argue though against the appearance when completed though! Good luck.
