  1. I'm looking for the rear seat belt (silver) numbers for my '06 997 coupe. I've secured the front belts and have not decided if I will completely remove rear seats or change belts to match the front. Thanks, Don
  2. Hi, I have located the DIY article for Boxster seat belt replacement but have had no luck finding this info for my 997. Is it pretty much the same or totally different? Don
  3. If you are talking about a PCA DE event, the answer is yes.
  4. The seat belt is silver, not the coupe! lol
  5. I'm looking for confirmation that 997 803 033 00 U01 is the correct part number for a front seat belt on a 997 coupe (silver).
  6. I'm thinking of removing the back seats in my '06 997. More of a GT3 look. Loren suggested I reach out to you to see how you car came out. I want to remove all including seat belts and bottoms. I look forward to hearing back from you! Thanks, Don
  7. Loren, Perfect! I will, thank you! I'm looking to remove the bottoms as well and the seat belts. Don
  8. Thanks Loren! So, holes for sure? How about the "look"?
  9. If the rear seats are removed from a 997, how will it look? Big holes showing in the carpet? Shaped for seats? Is it hard to make it look like a GT3?
  10. Factory wheels, 17, 18, and 19". Still looking for width and offset info.
  11. ....and another thing! What is the current consensus on aftermarket catback exhaust? 1. Best increase in power. 2. Least irritating sound. 3. Most cost effective. 4. Proven dyno results. And the winner is.....????
  12. I'm trying to help my friend decide what upgraded wheels and tires he can install on his '07 Cayman S. Unlike the 911 which has piles of information available to answer wheel and tire questions, I have not had any luck with the Cayman. Can someone point me in the right direction regarding widths, diameters, and offsets? Also any spacer info would be helpful. He has 5mm spacers available to him. The 986 and 996 models were pretty straight forward and interchangeable. Same with 997 and 987????
  13. Unfortunately, or fortunately, depending on whether you are a buyer or a seller, prices are falling. I purchased my '06 Carrera 997 in Dec. '07. The M.S.R.P. on this car was $99K. I purchased mine with 1800 miles for $70K. I saw an even better deal on eBay. An '06 997 S with 4000 miles, M.S.R.P. $107,000 plus the owner had added new BBS wheels. The car sold for $72K. All cars, especially high end ones, are not selling well.
  14. Is the BMC like a K&N and only require cleaning every 50000 miles? Will the K&N filter charger kit work?
  15. Thanks! I'm all over it! I got the Factory kit which included bolts,
  16. Are the Porsche 5mm wheel spacers for the 996 the same as the 997???? Don
  17. What is the hot "new flavor" brake fluid reccomendation? I've been using ATE for years. I read recently that there are some other fluids with higher boiling points. I don't plan on taking my car to more than one DE event this year, however, I've had 2 brake failures (years ago) and just want peace of mind! 2006 Carrera 997 6 speed PASM PCM Aero Kit PSE Sport Chrono Plus
  18. I'm sure you know how many times I've asked myself that question!!! lol
