  1. Tool pants , thanks again!! the right rear bulb holder looks just like the one in your picture, it has the bulb at the end that you can pull out and the extensions you were talking about. I went and replaced both bulb holders for the left and right side, the left works perfectly all lights work, its just the right side that the running lights dont work. Any other suggestions. Hello Tool Pants, swapped right side bulbs with left side, the right side ones worked fine when pluged to the left side bulb holder, but the bulbs from the left side that were swapped into the right bulb holder did not work. Again it was just the two running lights that did not work. Do you think there is a fuse that I need to check? I dont know what else to do, I do not have a volt meter. I think it must have something to do with the wiring harness which Porsche said there were none available in the usa for another month and that they want $1100 AT THE DEALER FOR IT. So im thinking i have to check the fuses! if you can break it down which fuse would be good to check first that would be great. Moosey, did you every find the problem with your lights. I have an identicle problem right now. My left side tail lights do not work. Right side and all fuses seem to be fine?
  2. I say work on the insurance co and try for a new top with glass. I just had it done and it's great. If that doens't work out, I think a replacement plastic window will be just as good as the original as long as the shop does good work. It's true that you can take the car wherever you want to get the work done. Good luck.
  3. Hello. Long time listener, first time caller. I've got an '02 boxster S. The alarm recently started acting up. I can lock the car just fine, but the alarm doesn't activate correctly. The horn doesn't honk during arming, but two red LEDs flash about ten times on the dash. When I unlock the car it beeps twice. While I'm driving the car, the doors stay locked and I'm not able to unlock them with the dash buttom. If I hit the unlock button while driving, the car beeps twice at me. I have no idea what's going on. There's no moisture near the alarm control box and all indications are that my sensors are okay.
