Hello to all, I have a Cayenne Titanium edition and I lost my flap jack cover (left rear conductor side) and I will need a replacement. Where can I get one? The dealer is charging over 200$ (painted) + taxes for it. Thanks Ian :cursing:
Brought to the garage this morning, they perform a battery test, it turns out that the battery is fine but maybe there's a problem with the alternator. I hope the alternator is under Porsche original warranty...Will the dealer replace the combo (alternator and battery)?
It's an Cayenne S Titanium edition 2006. The problem starts when I left the car without driving for 5 months. I had to charge the battery for 36 hours and everything is ok. The car has a Boomerang (tracking device) and itronics (mobridge) BT/Ipod that draw constantly on the battery. Is the battery under warranty? if not, what is the best battery for the cayenne? Thanks
Hi! My Porsche Cayenne battery died twice, each time I have to recharge it and everything is ok but how do you know that it's time to change the battery? My local Porsche dealer in Montreal charge 470$ (part and labor + taxes) for changing the battery but is it not under the Porsche warranty? is there any better alternative like another battery similar or better than the OEM? Thanks Ian
Thanks everyone, Just an update, the next day, the car doesn't start and the battery is dead. I charged for 18 hours and everything is back to normal. This is the second time that is happened to me. Is my battery needed to be replaced? how can you check if your battery has to be replaced? My Porsche dealer charges 470$ + taxes (part and labor) for the installation of a new battery...Any advice? Ian
Loren, Called porsche dealer to take an appointment, should I buy the piwi or the durametric? what is it? should every porsche owner has one? Thanks
Hi! From yesterday morning, when I turn on the engine, I have an all-wheel drive system error on the multi-purpose display. The car is running...Any idea what's wrong? Is it the battery? Thanks Ian

Here is an update...Brought to the dealer, they've done some tests and found no error and the problems recurs intermittently...
So, if the fiber was bent from the installer, how can I prove it? should I bring back to the installer or porsche dealer for Most piwi test? can it be a loose connection somewhere? does it have anything to do with the bybass switch? I don't really what to do...
Hi! The installer switch to another fuse (constant 12V) to provide power to the itronics. It seems to work for a week. My Porsche cayenne doesn't come with the CD changer in the rear. It's very strange, sometime, it works flawlessly and sometime nothing works (radio, nav, BT, Ipod) and I get the message "system error, navigation and amplifier not available". Sometime, after 20-30 minutes drive, everything is coming back. What's wrong? is it the fiber optic not well connected? power problem? Should I install it in the back at the CD changer connection? Thanks
Hi! I just installed the itronics for BT/ipod and Backup cam. Everything worked fine for a week. Yesterday, when I turn on the radio, nothing works...no sound and I get this message: system error navigation and amplifier not detected. Is this a problem with the itronics install, dead battery? Help please Thanks Ian
