I just bought a new '08 911 4S convertible. Gorgeous car. BUT when I had 450 miles on it and was driving it the driver's side window exploded in on me. Anyone heard of this happening before? The car feels like it has a vibration that is not normal. Nothing hit the window to make it break. Contacted Porsche corporate for help as there is paint damage and interior damage. After Porsche Orlando viewed the car they told me to turn it into insurance. So I will have a brand new $113k car with paint work and has a problem that makes the driver's side window break. Any ideas of who else to contact at Porsche for help? I bought two Porsche's because I heard such good things about customer satisfaction, experiencing the opposite from Porsche.
