  1. Not in the door but below in the frame itself.
  2. I recently replaced one of the screws holding the passenger visor to the window post. As some of you will know, the brass threaded insert strips easily if it is over tightened (which a previous owner did requiring me to replace it). You have to remove the factory threaded insert before installing a new nutsert which is exactly what I did. The problem occurred during the removal of the factory threaded insert because when I punched it out it fell down the window post to the bottom frame below the door and now rolls back and forth as I accelerate and brake. So my question is does anyone know how I can access this area to remove this brass piece? Thanks in advance for any help.
  3. I've got a 1999 Boxster and yesterday I started the car adn the key felt a little different when I started the car. Didn't give it much thought until I stoped and went to turn off the ignition. The key didn't want to stay in the zero position but wanted to spring to the right. I could hold it in the zero position and pull back on the key to remove but once I opened my door, the dinging alarm would go off and some instrument lights stay on like the odometer. Also the buttons on the key doesn't lock the door remotely so you have to use the key and it only locks the drivers side door and not the passenger. I'm hoping I can find some help or ideas on what this might be...one last thing is when you start the car now, the starter can hang because the key isn't returning to the correct position when you release it during starting??
