  1. Thanks, this was mentioned to me when I bought the headers and I now use a small spring to keep the servo line seperated from the headers. Im also thinking of wrapping some heat insulation around the line just to be sure!
  2. re mapped to euro norm 3 standard will do it. at least it did in my track 986S. it will never pass a US emissions test this way. Thanks. Does that mean that the re map will effectively disable 2 of the 4 sensors ? No - it changes the standard by which it will throw a CEL - you will still have to have your secondary sensors plugged into the harness - it is still looking for a signal, just now it can sniff pure mountain air or the air in China's QuanDong province and not throw a code. You either wire tie them nice and neat, or insert them into your mid pipes if you have a place to do that - I did - My primaries sensors are in the headers (no cats) and my mid pipes (also not cats) had a place to take the second set of 02 sensors - so it is nice and neat under there. Looking at a picture of the Dansk headers, it looks to me like there are two holes - the first sensors go in the first hole, and the second set in the second. Hard to tell for sure, but that is what it looks like on the dansk website. Thanks again, sounds like this will work out fine once I've got the remap sorted. You are right that the dansk headers have two predrilled holes on each side, so there is no extra work involved in getting the secondary sensors plugged in. Btw, I like the headers so far. Better mid range and throttle response.

  4. Hi, I have fitted dansk headers to my 01 boxster (us spec). As predicted the cel light went on because the the "header cats" are now gone. Im doing a remap next week and my dealer tells me the remap will take care of the cel, is this correct ?
  5. Hi, went out for a drive in snowy weather a few days ago - check engine light went on. Visited the OPC here in Oslo, code was P0430 (I think it threw other codes also, but this was the most important) Dealer said the cat may need replacement (expensive), but it was probably just a sensor - I have an appointment to change the O2 sensor next week. After doing some search on the net it seems that an exhaust leak also can throw P0430 error (OBD website) dealer never mentioned this. This got me thinking, a fellow Boxster owner I met a few weeks ago said he noticed a little rattle sound when revving my car that could be a small exhaust leak. Im going to take this info to the OPC, but I was wondering if any of you guys have experience with the P0430 code in relation to an exhaust leak ?
  6. There is some good info on this on boxa.net - Heated seats retrofit
  7. Hi, I have a 01 Boxster and I want to switch from farenheit to celcius on the a/c display. I have tried pressing the circulation and +/- but nothing happens. When I asked a local dealer he told me that in his experience this switch was not possible on some Boxsters..is this true ? Btw, my car does not have OBC. - Erlend
