  1. Did anyone ever find a resolution to this problem with the windows, it's definitely not the reset issue. I'm leaning towards the window motor/control unit has gone wonky. Any Suggestions?
  2. Looks like the GPS antenna was unplugged, I'll report back if that fully fixes the problem.!
  3. I show 0 sattelites in the Status menu. Did a system reset and still the same. I'll take a look at the GPS antenna. Anyone know where the GPS antenna is located?Otherwise I'll Google it.
  4. I recently acquired a mid 2006 997S Cab. Everything works great in the head unit, Sound system, etc. The navigation, However does not. It has what appears to be current, software. The problem is...it appears to be stuck on the Previous owner's location in San Diego. It doesn't update location on the map. I, unfortunately, am in Florida. I checked to software and it shows a fault triangle for the amplifier?? Here's the pictures... Any ideas of where to start? I've heard incorrect amplifiers causing issues. But I have working audio? Do I just need the update CDs, to correct the problem?
  5. I have a 99 3.4l C2 and am in the process of installing the Carrera power kit. I own a performance shop and race this car in PCA , PBOC etc.. so we are doing the install. The kit was never sold in North America, so getting info on it has been very hard. I tried Porsche Motorsports, Porsche North America, and several dealers including Brumos. I was told by PNA that they could not even acess the tech info. for legal reasons. Some cars Depending on VIN will have to change pistons. Since I am on my second motor I already had the newer version. The kit comes with everything you will find in the x51 package. they are the same but I don't think it was called by its option # until it was available here for the 3.6. THe 3.6 and 3.4 are the same bore just different crank and rods(stroke). We should be done and racing at Sebring on the 11th and 12th Today is Labor day and I am at the shop putting this motor together , Braving a Hurricane thats headed right for me, to finnish for a race that I not sure wether they have or will cancel. What a race junky I have become! :drive:
  6. Ineed info/copies of the following ROW bulletins: 1.gr 6zyl nr 1/98 1.gr 6zyl nr 2/98 1.gr 911 nr 2/00 electronic mail gr.1 6zyl nr. 2/00 These are reference data for installing the Carrera power package on a 99 3.4l this was available ROW(rest of World) only. therefor there is no info. available in the U.S.. Porsche North America says its because of legal reasons. I will glady cover any costs that are necessary. I am ready to install the kit but would like to read these first if I can get them.
