time to take the battery out to a local part store(auto zone?),let them test it.
your wiring looks Ok.
My local part dealer says that the battery is realy o.k. Must be something else. But i have no idea. I really need help!!!

How old is your battery? If you just replaced your alternator, did it kill your battery at some point? If your battery won't reliably hold a charge, your dash could light up like a Christmas tree
I have measured the battery, 89% should be o.k.

check the wiring on your alternator
Do you have a wiring diagramm for the alternator?

Hi, i have 2000 986, 2.7L., 70k. After replacing the alternator all lights in my speedometer came on like:
Airbag
ABS
TC
Rear-Spioler
And both front turn signals are not working anymore, only in the back, but the blubs are o.k.
What can i do? How can i reset the control unit? Any suggestions?
Thanks
Help! Check engine light: P0501
in 986 Series (Boxster, Boxster S)
Posted
Hi,
my engine check lights since yesterday. My speed idle is not working when i am driving, and the digital speedometer too (shows 0 km). I have checked the fault code with my engine Scan tool, and i recieved following informations:
P 0501
Vehicle Speed Sensor A Range / Performance
My questions:
-On which wheel is the Speed A sensor located?
-How can i fix the problem? Cleaning the speed sensor will help? Or should i replace it?
Thanks for your help.
