  4. After install of rebuilt engine, tach, odometer , speedo not working all else works fine , guessing we missed installing some wiring to tranny ? Any suggestions Thanks
  5. Hi guys, looking for any input or comments on what power/performance I should expect from a new rebuilt on my 99 C2 3.4 to a 3.8 liter Jason from UFO Motorsport in CA performed the work . Included in the rebuild was Nickies , raised compression to 12:1 polished ports(350hp) Ipd plenum ( 28 hp) , k and n air kit( 23 hp) NHp full exhaust system ( x51 headers, 200 cat x pipes w/ mufflers 30+hp) horsepower listed after each mod is the advertised increase . I've read that these hp increases are not realistic but would appreciate the input from this forum as I will eventually have the car dynoed once Ecu is tuned . Thanks in advance
  6. Recently installed rebuilt engine and now speedo, tach and odometer not working digital also not working . Fuses are good . Any suggestions. Thanks

  8. Thanks JFP, was just speaking to Jake earlier today. Not sure I want to Invest close to 20k but It Is an option. Atleast I know I will get my engine back and In great shape with Jake. The other guys..... not so sure
  9. Hi Everyone, Looking for a reputable engine rebuilder for my 99 c2 3.4, I believe engine has a cracked cylinder or sleeve , was actually ready to pull the trigger and have Motor Meister do the rebuild and big bore to 3.8 but checked into their past and found alot of complaints and unsatisfied customers. Im located on east coast (NY). was also looking for some performance upgrades. Engine is out of car and ready ! Thanks
  10. Thanks for both your Inputs. Will most likely go with Lorens fronts and rear tire sizes. Thanks again you guys are really great!
  11. Hi All, Looking for Input on installing wider tires on my 99 C2 , Have 18" x 10" rims ( measured the width with the tire on and it was approx 11", outside bead to outside bead) that currently have 265 35 18's at the rears and front are 225 40 18's . Fronts I am ok with but would like to add some width to rears without changing rims. Was hoping to go from the 265 to 295 or 305. Any suggestions? Thanks Dean
