  1. Hey guys, thanks a lot! I think I will wait until Saturday and save it for a weekend project. I believe I might need to get an adaptor for the XM direct antenna to convert from "US standard" connection to the Euro standard plug. Again, thanks for the link and the input!
  2. Hey guys I need some help on a simple question that I haven't found an answer using the search feature. I currently have added XM sat radio using XM's FM modulator. It works OK however I want to 'hardwire' it via the antenna connection at the radio so that I don't have to constantly search and find unused FM frequencies to get the SAT feed into the radio as I move from one listening area to another. Now for the dumb question. Where exactly is the radio? Is the radio installed internally and part of the PCM (and the antenna connection is in the rear of the PCM unit)? Before I remove it and look to see if there is an antenna connection on the back, I thought I would ask the question. I can see how the radio could be mounted anywhere in the car and then tie into the PCM to act as an interface to the radio hardware so that is the reason for my question. If it is in the PCM and it will have to be removed to gain access to the antenna connection, is there any write ups on the board that someone can steer me towards that lays out what is needed to remove it (2005, 997-S with navigation package)? I have removed in the past the 2 side panels just to get a quick look at the PCM however have not gone any further with what is involved to get the complete PCM unit out of the center console. Thanks in advance.
