  1. Thanks, I am very tempted to try this. Any ideas how I start the process.
  2. Air temperature is about 10 degrees centrigrade and I have not tpped up the oil from new (2500 miles ago) and is still showing full. The dealer must have thought something was wrong to have spent so much time on it. The engine has been out twice!
  3. I have an loud ticking noise from the right hand side of the engine on start up. The ticking frequency increases with revs and stops altogether when the engine has warmed up. The car, a 2007 Boxster 2.7 approx 2500 miles, has been back to the dealer 3 times when they have changed the oil relief valve housing, the oil relief valve and changed all the hydraulic tappets, but the noise is still exactly the same. They are now saying that this is common on Boxsters, but my previous 987 (2005) did not have it and neither has two other boxsters that they have given me as replacement cars. There is also a very anoying body rattle from somewhere behind the drivers right ear which they have also failed to cure. These are faults I do not expect from a new £39,000 car. I would be very grateful for any suggestions.
