Thanks a lot guys, I just bought one through ebay for $300, the dealer quoted me almost $600, I'm supposed to get it on friday, I will test it on the front and see if the noise goes away, if it does, i'll just replace the 4 of them....my car already has 30k mi. so they should need replacement soon anyway. Thanks again.... -

I've been having problems with my '04 boxster S 550 edition. For about 4 months there is a rattling sound on the wheels or suspension, the sound goes away whenever i brake though but as soon as i release the brake it comes back again! I've already changed the brake pads, vibration dampers and swaybar rubber mounts with no success. After spending over $1000 in parts and labor, I'm back to square one. I was wondering if anyone has had the same problem before and could give me some idea what could be that noise b/c im about to sell the car because of this, i just don't enjoy driving it anymore, all I think about is this noise! Any suggestions??? Thanks
