Sounds like it might be somthing to do with the clutch. Would have said maybe oil on it but not sure why it doesn't do it in the forward gears. Do you have an oil leak?

just noticed the throttle pedal seems to be coming apart at the hinge,seems to just a plastic hinge. I think I could affect a repair if I can get it off. Looks like the pedal itself should come off leaving the cable mechanism behind but can't quite see how. Can anyone help.

Want to top up axle oil level as there is a slight leak from the oil seal, notice there is a bit of play in the bearing, would it hurt to put some molyslip in? Also what is the easiest way of draining out some coolant? Thanks in advance.

Yippee!!!!!!!!!!!, it was the fuse, couldn't wait till tomorrow, just been out with a torch. Suspect when rad replaced someone blew a fuse and previous owner never noticed. Can I assume they will work as cooling fans when it gets hot with A/C off?

Ok thanks again for that Loren. So I've just been to look at the fuses and there is no fuse chart , anyone know where I can get one. Also where are the relays for the fans, is that them in the back n/s (uk)? Next thisng is I don't know how to tell if the fan is on low speed or high speed, never heard another one, seems to be blowing quite hard though. Can I assume that if only on works when the a/c is on, only one works, if you get my drift.

Do you mean the fans behind the radiators in the front ? Low or high speed missing ? They should work continuously with the air condition on. They are accessible after removing the inner wheel well liners.

Yes, should there be two, one either side? I could only hear one working.

Warm weather has meant I've heard my cooling fan for the first time, but only the near side one, should they both be on or do they work incrementally? if there is a problem with one of them are they easy to access?
