  1. Hey! Thanks for all of the info. I know the bose speakers are junk, and I intend on replacing them, but I'd rather not have to do everything in one shot. Is there a way to get the bose speakers to work with the avic if I replace the bose amp? That way I can get around to replacing the speakers in a few months.
  2. I actually called Pioneer and discussed this with them. I was told that it was not compatible with the Cayenne. I don't know if it is true or not, but that's what they told me... That's pretty disappointing.... Thanks for the reply though.... Any idea if there's another one that may work? I think Kenwood makes one as well, a DNX7100 that's similar in terms of functionality to the pioneer.
  3. Hello, I have been having problems with my PCM. Occasionally if I leave a CD in the drive over night, or for a few hours, when I return to the car I get a horrible loud buzzing sound until I finally eject the CD. Combine this problem with the fact that I'm not a big fan of the porsche PCM to begin with (given its not touchscreen, the navi is really dated, and it has no aux input for ipods, and no BT), I thought that instead of purchasing something like the Mobdridge Bluetooth audio to add those features, I may as well just swap out the malfunctioning PCM, and purcahse a new deck that does everything. Unfortunately I havne't been able to find any information regarding a Pioneer Avic Z2 deck into Cayennes. Has anyone done this before? or had any experience swapping out the porsche pcm for an aftermarket navi deck? is there an adaptor for the steering wheel to work? and where could I potentially find a matching face plate? Thanks very much in advance!
