GT3 shocks in a C4?

My spidey senses tell me that the extra weight in front of a C4 may make GT3 shocks unsuitable. Is the weight imbalance that significant? Loren, any thoughts? -
Having used the "search" feature, I've found that GT3 suspension is pretty much a direct bolt on for C2 cars. However, is that the case for C4 cars? Can an 04 GT3 suspension be used on a 01 C4? I realize that the parts #'s are diff for Bilstein, H&R, and M030 between C2 and C4, but I want to make sure that this is option is either def ruled out or in play. GT3 suspensions can be found for a good deal, and I would prefer it over ROW M030. Thank you!!!!

I am actually to do exactly to do the same mod (for sound only) as you pointed me on RennList: http://www.renntech.org/forums/index.php?showtopic=16177 I want to make sure that I am hunting for the right 997 cans though!

I am looking to do the PSE mod with 3.8L cans. Are they different from the 3.6L version though? Does anyone have the part number for the 3.8L kind? Thanks!
