  1. Right, Found the problem. Apparently the airconditioning drain had been kinked and was filling up all of the sound dampening under the carpet with water. This water caused a short in the an ignition circuit and killed the car and engine instantly. No-one saw this problem coming!!
  2. Have a 2004 Cayenne V6 and while driving it simply turned itself off. Engine went off and all dash indicators dropped to zero with no display of any warning lights. Coasted to a stop. Tried to restart, but dash showed no response, save for the parking indicators flashing briefly and central screen displaying logo..then nothing. Loads of battery power...lights worked, stereo worked, but no start and gearbox locked in park. Had to unlock gearbox manually when Porsche Roadside Assist came to collect. On arrival of vehicle at dealer it worked fine? They are keeping it and driving for a few days to try and replicate problem??? Any ideas?? Please. Porsche checked the vehicle and (to both our surprise) no errors. They couldn't replicate the problem. Any ideas folks would be greatly appreciated. Cheers Cleavs.
