  1. Supplement to 2Din unit receiver installation In finished my installation about 1 year ago. My system is AVIC-F700BT + Alpine PDX-5. I ran into few problems when I did the installation. - Place to run the cable from the dash (interior) to the amp (front trunk): There is a small rubber piece near the dead pedal. I cut a cross to run through it. You can refer to photos. - There is a wire for receiver to send on/off signal to the amp. Use a new wire instead of using the existing wire. When I did the installation, the existing wire did not transfer enough power. I did not understand why, and it took me few weeks to realize using a new wire would be a better choice. I never installed any car stereo before. It took me few weeks with my friend's help, but the result is rewarding.
  3. HI, Rahlstrom Do you mind telling me how you attach the ACC wire? The stereo system is still on when I take out my key. It seems like the receiver is always on. I check the black harness, it always has 12V. Thank you.
