  1. I have a c2 not a c4, but i believe the transmissions are the same ZF. Mine did the same at 25,000 miles. I did a transmission service, changed fluid, filter and gasket. Although the manual says service recommendation is at 90,000 miles, mine was extremely dirty. This fixed my problem. Make sure you use the correct transmission fluid.
  2. tiptronic fluid and "final drive" (diffenential) are seperate. Do a search, both are DIY's are are not difficult.
  3. check with suncoast. i did the reverse of what you are doing, there is a tray that fits that hole exactly.
  4. Yes it is. Audi G-12 antifreze is the same product. Also is considerably cheaper.
  5. I have a 2001 996 c2 with a tiptronic transmission. What type of fluid can be used besides Porsche brand. Thanks in advance.
