  1. So when its warm out like 70 degree or hotter my 78 911 when im decelerating it will idle high at 2000 rpm. I can ride the clutch and get the rpm to drop lower but the idle will hang whatever rpms im at when i press the clutch. When i come to a complete stop and pump the brakes a bunch of times ive notice it will drop a little. When its below 70 degree it idles fine. Any ideas?
  2. Got it fixed. Took it to John Walker Porsche here in Seattle and it was the check valve. The 78 fuel pump has a internal check valve in the pump but John put a external one on for 30 bucks and I was good to go. No more cranking like a idiot on warm days.
  3. Hello Everyone, Im new to the forum. Ive always been into old Datsun Z cars but a buddy of mine needed cash and sold his 911 to me. Its a 1978 911 SC and I love it but one of the issues it has is a hard time starting in warm weather. I swapped the the accumulator from Pelican Parts and I still have the issue. What should I look for next? thanks, Hog240z_911
