  1. Hi, I have a 08 Cayenne S. the oil consumption issue is printed in the owners manual. At 1500 miles my check oil light came on and I had to put in about a little over 2 quarts to bring it to full. I have the dealer look at the car at their free inspection. They said it was within normal specifiacations. Now I'm at 8K mileas and I have not had to top of the oil at all since the first incident. They also told me not to add any oil until the low oil light comes on. I don't know about the emissions. Regards, Ed
  2. Yes, the instructions work for the 2008. Wasn't too painful except for the top torx screw. Not sure where the screws are for the earlier Cayenne marker screw, but there's a metal bracket in the way giving only about three inches to work with. A set of Craftsman offset wrenches with the torx bit did the trick. Thanks for teh instructions!
