  1. Here are the facts: + 2003 996 cab purchased in May 08', 23K milles and 2 yr CPO+ June 08' Intermediate Shaft Failure 24.8K; new engine under warranty + April 11' Valve Keeper Failure at 28K on new engine; Needs new engine; warranty expired less than 12 months; Porsche is willing to pay 50% on new engine! They should pay 100% why should I to pay anything? car only has Who do I complain to? This is a reliability and engineering issue! Your suggestions would be greatly appreciated...
  2. My 911 rear tires wear out faster that I can save up for a new pair. What brand of tires seem to last longer than six months?
  3. I need to do suspension work to 911 and am looking for the best of the best in Dallas. Please advise.
  4. I hear you and will follow your suggestions. But WOW! How many blown engines are out there? How do you know if your engine is the engine that came with the car? As stated above, a 997 had a blown engine with 35K.. It's interesting that no one suggested that I get my money back or trade the car in. Lastly, do you recommend that I replace the clucth? At this point, the parts will run $625.00 with no labor.
  5. According to the Service Department, the CPO will pay for the engine exchange. But doesn't this create all types of new issues like resale value? What would you do? Resale value? It could go up... ask them I think your new engine will have a 2 year warranty. Get this. If my warranty were to end tomorrow, the new engine before they even put it in would end. Any new parts added to the car will end when the vehicle warranty ends. Unbelievable...

  7. I'm a newbie and I need major advice! I just bought a certified 2004 911 CAB with 28K miles on May 29th. I was the happiest guy ever! I'm thinking WOW this is much better than my CLK500 Cab! Well, I'm not so sure. As I was washing my car I noticed that the molding on the windshield was loose. I made the appointment for service and dropped it off. I left with a loaner (Cayman) and was looking forward to picking her up in the afternnon. Picked her up in the afternoon dropped the top and drove off. I'm going around 75 mph on the highway when all of a sudden I hear this clanking noise!
  8. What do you do if you do not have a CD changer? Buy the way, I went to your link and it says that product is no longer available. Sorry for the BAD news, but the Blau/8-3NPUT has been discontinued
