These were the only greens I could find that were available as standard body colors in 1978. I am sure there were many special orders or paint to samples in that year as well, don't have access to that info. :cheers:

Thanks, I'll put one on back order now. Some of the parts guys have real trouble digging up part #'s for the tech lit.

You might want to try flushing the clutch(brake ) fluid out and changing the gearbox oil. It really made a difference on our 01 (2.7 wt 39k). Good luck with the car. :cheers:

See if they can upgrade them to the steel type used in the GT2/GT3 gearbox. :cheers:

Just buy the Porsche ones, they are not that pricey at all. Get the factory Beru plug, has excellent results in our 01

Welcome and congrats, thats a great car. Sounds like you need a new warm-up regulator and fast. Try to avoid any and all backfires as it can ruin your airbox. Those engines are real workhorses. Good luck.

Thanks Loren, I read that, nice write up. It did not look terribly difficult, other then a ton of bolts and what not. The only thing that made me a tade leary is the carnewal site indicated that it would work with the 3.4 motor , no mention of the 2.7.

I just have to give it a try and take a ton of pics.

Anybody ever attempt this on a standard 2.7 Boxster? It could be either adding an "S" radiator or the GT3 type 3rd radiator to a standard 2.7 model? I've found a "s" front bumper cover with the extra opening for the 3rd radiator for our std 01. Was looking to upgrade for the hotter climates. Thanks. :cheers:

Its fairly cheap at both of those. I believe the last litre jug cost me around $12or 13. Audi uses 11S in there p/s systems. Our A4 cooks the stuff , so I flush it when I change the oil on it. VW/Audi sells a 12 fl. oz. bottle of it (part# G 002 012) which is easy to pour into the res. for the Boxster. Good luck. :jump:
