  1. The Code is now gone after I replaced the oxygen sensor, I think that issue is ok. But what would cause the rpm to surge only in that rpm range of 1400 to 2000 while going about 30 to 50 mph. Runs great above 2000rpm and at hwy speeds, idles right at 650, good acceleration does seem to shift quick Daniel
  2. Thanks for help New plugs about 1000 miles ago Daniel
  3. Thanks Loren I used a Bosche sensors on the replacement. The wiring issues are way over my head. I guess I should take it in to have it looked at the repair shop. Daniel
  4. Hi Guys I have a 2000 tiptronic with 85,000 miles. Had a check engine light with code 1117 and surging RPM between 1400 and 2000 rpm idles fine and above 2000 rpm runs great. Replaced the oxygen sensors after the CAT per the code, cleaned mass air sensor, replaced air filter, unhooked mass air sensor test drove but the surging rpm still happening with no codes. Hoping for some suggestions on solutions. Daniel
