  1. Update the key lock cylinder mustve been melted in the process because i cant turn the key in it.... does anybody have a dead 924 they want to sell me cheap? I definitely regret buying this car...
  2. my 82 924 caught fire under the dashboard and my friend has a parts car thats an 85 944, I'm wondering if the wiring harness will work on my car or not b/c otherwise ill have to rig my wiring up by hand.
  3. Im looking to upgrade the fuel system on my 82 924 but im not entirely sure what ill be required to purchase and what fuel systems if any can be swapped with mine. I feel like this is definitely a weak point in this car and probably the reason im getting 20 mpg and below in a 2500 pound car. can i bypass the seemingly pointlessfuel distribution system? Any help would be appreciated.
  4. I tried my wiring on the power window motor of another vw and it works. Its a 100$ motor though , anybody have an idea where i can get it for less?
  5. The driver side power window in my 924 won't go up and im not sure why. I'm also not sure exactly how it works, theres a constant 12 volts going to both the terminals on the window motor and when i hit the switch it goes down to 0 volts. I would like to know what else i can do to diagnose this problem and also what cars i can steal the motor out of.
