  1. Those go at the bottom of your air cleaner hosing to hold it in place. Thanks Loren. One grommet was in the engine compartment, the other in the photo. Quite apparent that I needed these. Thanks again.
  2. Hello. I had an alternator fail on my 01 996. Thank goodness I was blocks from home. I bought a rebuilt Bosch, and new serp belt, and was amazed at the eaze of install. It took about 1/2 hour to complete. In any event, after I finished, I found this under my engine compartment. Anyone know what it is and/or where it goes?
  3. Thank you Gents! Nice mod. I have an 01 996, and with help, I have added led rear brake lights (spoiler and center light), short shifter ($50 off of ebay), aluminium shift linkage (agency power), and in-dash spoiler switch. What a fun car.
