  1. Hi, Thanks for the response, I did find that conversation. They too were asking for the part number and any advise on replacing the hydraulic arm with - no response. Thanks again.
  2. Hi, I have a 2003 996 Carrera2 Cab Tip with a poorly roof. I'm pretty sure it's the hydraluics as the fluid is low and it makes a whinny and sucking noise when going opening and closing. I am keen to find out the part number for a hydraulic cylinder (arm) and to know if this is an easy job to repair. Porsche quoted me $$$$$! You help is most welcome. Thank you.
  3. Did you ever find this part number and price?
  4. I also have this problem and the converstaions above made an interesting read. I would also like to find the part number for the hydraulic arm as I think mine is leaking. Please help???
  5. Hi, I also have this problem on my 2003 996 C2 CAB. If it makes a whinny intermitant noise and opens and shuts in jumps, then it sounds like a hydraulic problem. A suggestion already made is to check the fluid or look for leaks. You can replace the fluid but there must be a leak somewhere. I have had mine diagnosed by porsche and need a new Hydraulic Cylinder, where can I find this part and part number please??? Many thanks.
