  1. So what will the fiber optic cables connect to if I do not have an amplifier in the car?
  2. Sorry revive an old thread, but I am in the middle of this install and can't get any sound out of my speakers. The unit will light up and does everything else, but put sound to the speakers, it states: failure ampifier not found. My 2004 GT3 did not have the bose option and does not have an amplifier. I did get the amp from the car that I got pcm2 from, but I am wondering if it is absolutely necessary to install it. I don't have the orange fiber optic cables plugged into the pcm because I don't have an amplifier in the car. Can I have the dealership to program the pcm to stop searching for an external amp, and program it to use its internal amp? If it has an internal amp? Any help with this install would be appreciated.
