  1. Can someone post the color codes or color names for the shades of Gray leather that were available on 2003 TT"s ? thanks. I am having a leather guy do some touch up and I cannot locate the exact color code. Thanks
  2. Can anyone recommend a really good interior and exterior detailer in Chicago land? Thanks
  3. If you have misfires then you have fault codes even if they are pending. What tool is being used to read the fault code(s). What is the car's history for spark plugs and coils? How many miles? 38k miles, car had full 30k service done. Not sure what tool was being used, will need to check with my service guy, he is a certified Porsche mechanic.
  4. 2003 TT stock, Tiptronic- After a hard acceleration (.5 or above) followed by rapid deceleration (hard breaking) the car will missfire/cut out to the point of almost dying, after a short period of this it (10-20 seconds) will resume normal operation. No codes are being thrown, I had my service guy address this 5 months ago by replacing the Fuel Pump, it seemed to fix it initially but only for a short period of time becuase now it is happening again, not quite as much as before but still happening. Any suggestions would be welcome, I need to bring it back in to the guy who fixed it the first time as the fuel pump and work is warranted for a year but thought I would see if anyone has any suggestions prior to this. Thanks
  5. Good luck, I searched high and low and could not find a match (graphite grey), wound up buying a new center console, which really was not that much of a wallet hit. Ok, thanks. I have searched as well and could not locate anything, my center console is Graphite grey as well. Where did you get the replacment and how much? Any challenge putting it in?
  6. O3 996tt- dash and center console has some nicks from rubbing key's and other assorted things. I am wondering if there is a touch up kit that exists for this type of thing?
  7. I have a 03 stock 996tt. When I accelerate hard from a low speed roll (20-30mph) and then de-celerate shortly thereafter the cars looses most of it's power and will sputter for a minute or 2 (or until I turn it off and restart). After the a few minutes everything will be fine. This does not occur if I accelerate hard onto a expressway and keep the RPM and or the speed up, it only happens when I accerlate hard and then have the need to slow down aggressively shorly afte the hard acceleration. Thoughts welcome...................
  8. Has anyone experienced a passenger window that when it drops the 1/2 inch gets hung up on the small backseet window? When I try to exit from the passenger door the window gets caught against the back glass. This does not happen when I open the car from the outside. It appears that the window regular is working fine as the window makes the half inch drop but just gets hung up. Additionally, I noticed that the gap between passenger window is much smaller with regard to how close the window is to the back glass than compared to the driver window. Thanks
