Based on what? wow, tough crowd here...... uh, based on the fact that ive read that the shifting mechanism has changed. Its not just a lever or geometry change but that part of the overall console design was changed. What EXACTLY that entails, well im not so sure. I said i assume, i was asking a question, hardly stating fact. I don't have both in hand to compare, but I am curious so i figured i would ask. Cheers

I assume its the shifter base which has created the change in feel of the shifter for the 997 and 987 shifter. Is it assumed that you could use this new base combined with one of the replica Ebay short shifters to gain both the shorter throw, and the improved shift action that the updated base provides? Would this solve both issues?

Do you really think Porsche will be cheaper? Actually YES! (how crazy is that right!) Have you ever priced parts from Sunset? If not do yourself a favor, Porsche parts are cheaper from the dealer then china parts are for any Ford from Autozone.

So i am doing some research and am curious what options there are for an LSD for a Boxster S. I am aware of the Quaife and probably think this is the best thing going, period. But since we get such great deals on parts from Porsche, i am wondering if there is an LSD off the shelf, maybe for some 997 model that can be used in the 986 S 6 speed gearbox? I looked in the PET and see nothing of the sort but I believe LSD is an option on some 997 models. If a diff exists, the question then becomes will it fit in the 986 transaxle? Again, i think the Quaife is still the best thing going, i love the design of the unit, (ATB type) but at $1600 I am looking for an alternative that maybe a little cheaper. Who has been down this road and what's available? Or is the Quaife the only real option, albeit a great one?

Those wheels came out in the early 90's (94 possibly on the 928 GTS) I think those will really date your car, in a BAD way! They belong on 993's and 928's and are referred to as "Cup II's". I would look for something else

Hello ROW M030 Suspension

Does this M030 kit include the roll bars as well or just the shocks and springs? For $1,000 i am very interested. How much lower is the car over standard US spec is it? I would like to lower the car an inch all round and was considering H&R springs, but if the ROW 030 does the trick then it ticks all my boxes!
