  1. Sorry for the delayed reply... There are going to be several spots to attach the stock wiring harness. There will be the third brake light, which runs up through the decklid (rubber seal).. then through the balck plastic mounting (rubber seal) for the color match grill that extends up during driving. The second attachment is the decklid lamp that turns on when you open the deckild. The third is the external fan. The harness (if you are looking at the decklid) should run to the right where it mounts (with a clip) on the passenger rear inside fender wall. You will see (feel) a female connector on the inside. Just clip it in and you are good to go... Hope this helps! Cheers, B
  2. Ok...so I finally had the opportunity to work on my baby. I was able to place the stock decklid on. When I attached all the wiring the decklid wing was up. I installed it, started the car and the wing retracted down. I am starting to smile, but it quickly turned upside down. When I pressed the switch on the fuse panel, the wing did not go up. I took it for a test drive and it did not go up at the speed it should. Any ideas as to why this is???? I will mention the decklid brake light wiring is not attached (as of yet). Will this cause the wing to not go up? I will also point out, I did not get a wing error on my dashboard when I hit the correct speed... Thoughts? Cheers, B
  3. I think I am still a little confused... I know the wiring harness is for the spoiler motor, brake light and fan (attached to the deck lid). Where I am confused is where the two "black box" pieces go, which are a part of the wiring harness. If you look in the center of the picture, you will see two small box shaped pieces with little button type (you can push on them and they click) things on the top. The way the wiring is wrapped around the deck lid motor, I have no idea where they go. Do they go inside the moving parts for lifting the deck lid? Do they just float freely and not connect to anything? Does this help? Sorry for the back and forth... I am just not seeing how they attach to the deck lid... Again, I appreciate all the help!!!!! Cheers!
  4. Loren, I appreciate the help! I figured you would be the one to reply... after reading all the posts in the forum... all the repair and knowledge came from you. I think I am going to start calling "The Godfather" (no pun intended on age of course). I figured out the wring and colors on the plug, but it does not show where they rest or attach too... Any thoughts? Cheers!
  5. Hello All! I am new to the forum, but was directed from some 6speed buddies to post my question here since I was not getting any response. I was told this was the place for tech questions! Here is my question: I recently removed my stock decklid and replaced it with a GT3 decklid and wing. I am looking to temporarily go back to my stock decklid (change it up for a little bit), but I can not remember how the a part of the stock wiring connects. More specifically, the two small "box" type pieces with pressure buttons on them located next to the decklid motor... Where do they go? What are they for? Any help would be greatly appreciated! I have included a photo of the specific piece I am referring too.
