  1. Yeah, thanks. He called it X50 but I couldn't find anything on that so I figured it was a different option code.
  2. Thanks for the replies. I suspected it was the option for $19.9k.
  3. Do you have a link to this list? He told me it was the X50 package but I've been unable to find any info on it anywhere.
  4. I have a friend that's getting the X50 package for his Cayenne turbo. Does anyone know if this is out yet or what exactly gets replaced. I know there's a brake upgrade but he's not even sure what he's getting.
  5. What I'm trying to find out is if this is long term abuse or if one event could have caused this and how. TIA
  6. The dealer also claims this wasn't wear it was a single catastrophic event. It won't be covered under warranty due to "abuse". -Toolpants: The synchro stop in my picture is totally missing, The one you showed has an aparent notch and a little corner missing. How would my synchro stop be totally missing?
  7. The Porsche dealer won't work on it. They claim they cant' be rebuilt in the US, the tranny has to be replaced.
  8. This is a picture of an '01 996 Turbo's 5th gear synchro. The dealership says it was damaged due to a miss-shift or abuse. This seems odd since I never miss a shift and I don't abuse my vehicle. Could this damage be caused by a previous owner (I purchased with 25k)? I'm not a technician so any added info about this picture or anything you notice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance!!!
