  1. I have a 1997 C2S purchased in Japan without keyless entry. First, how the car was fitted depended on the market. Second, I noticed them, at least in Japan, more prevalent on later models (i.e. '98 993), and/or better equipped ones (C4S, TT, or full leather optioned). That said, I have seen DIY kits on the internet.
  2. I agree about perhaps buying the TT, if you can afford it. If not though, I would probably side with the Carrera S. Why? The 2WD 'S' was only available in 1997/8 while the C4S was available in prior years. I won't enter into the mechanical debate of 2WD vs. 4WD as enough's been written on that and as far as I'm concerned unless you really need it there's little advantage to 4WD over 2WD. I am partial I admit as I own a Carrera S. That said, they are in demand and highly desirable.
