  1. Not sure what you call it but I'm trying to remove the panel that houses the sunroof switch and the reading lights on the headliner on a 996tt. Anyone have any ideas how to do this? Thanks Edwin
  2. I've searched and saw how to take off the driver-side vent (which I already did) but I'm having trouble taking out the headlight swtich off the vent piece. Does anyone have any ideas? I see a nut after I took off the pullout switch and I took that off but the switch still won't budge. any ideas? Edwin
  3. Does anyone know where I can find out how many turbo, c4s, and NB 996s were produced worldwide? Edwin
  4. If you don't mind me asking...what size infinitis did you put in the front and rear speakers? Edwin

  6. thanks Loren...did you mean brown wire is ground?
  7. I'm in the process of switching out my steering wheel and am trying to figure out how to wire them up. This is what the stock looks like and as you can see, there are two wires (A&B) Here's the back of the steering wheel on my FVD wheel and one is a black wire (A). Am I right in connecting the A's and B's? Does it make a difference or are these wires just the ground for the horns? Thanks everyone! Edwin
  8. Model and year of your car? And, what are you trying to connect? Loren, I have a 2001 996 Turbo and I'm trying to connect this http://www.ecliptech.com.au/main_win_sep06.html It's only three wires...ground, Tach and ignition edwin
  9. Any of them. Thanks Loren. I finally got my radio to work Edwin
  10. I've tried the search but couldn't find anything (Searched under "tach wire") but I'm trying to find where the tach wire is. Anyone know? Thanks Edwin
  11. I am trying to hook up the speedo wire and did the relay panel thing but noticed there are three grey/pinks. Which one is the one to tap into for the VSS wire? Thanks Edwin
  12. Try 9272 or 9270 Thanks for the quick response Loren. I plugged the radio back in and turned it on and it showed "Wait" and didn't allow me to input the code. Anyone know what this means? The wait message never changed EDIT: NVM... it means the radio has locked me out. I'll try again in an hour Edwin
  13. Please help anyone 2001 996 Turbo CDR220 BE 4462 Serial: Y5054555 Lauren, did I do that right? Edwin
  14. Thank you! Just wanted to get some suggestions... do you all recommend trying to use the factory amp on an aftermarket HU or should I bypass the amp and run the amp off my Eclipse HU? Anyone have experience either way? Edwin
  15. Loren, I believe it's the M680. Thanks Edwin
  16. I've searched and am not sure if I'm missing it but I was wondering if you all can help me. I have a 2001 996 Turbo (non bose, non-nav and non-most). I'm installing a aftermarket radio and I want to bypass the stock amp (Harman AES). Does anyone have the diagram that shows which wires in and out of the amp are? Thanks in advance! Edwin
  17. I would make sure figure out what the cause is for the bad headlight, as it could be either the bulb or ballast. If it's just a bulb, you can get a new set of under $40. Email me if you want and I'll let you know where. edwinlau32@gmail.com. Btw, I've ran aftermarket HID bulbs and kits on my cars as well as aftermarket bulbs on my 01 turbo. Not a problem Edwin
  18. I have conflicting information. Based on the dunlop website, it shows diameter of 25.5" front and 25.0" rear, resulting in a less than 1% variance. People on 6speed say that's not possible b/c 295/30 should measure 26" in diameter (which all other tire manufacturers do). I called TireRack and contacted Dunlop and they confirmed that it's 25" diameter. I go home and measure and it's 25.5" rear and 25.0" front, giving me a 2.5% variance. Not sure what to think. PSM hasn't turned on or anything Edwin
  19. I was the one that posted that thread. Don't bother emailing them... they won't return your emails (at least they didn't return my three emails). Best way to contact them is to call them in the morning when they open. Usually a guy named Mike answers and he's the one you need to talk to Edwin
  20. I currently have this set up on my car and am concerned with the issue of having the front differential getting chewed up b/c of the diameter difference. Although, I've read a few people not having a problem with it. If you have ran this set up, can you please answer: 1) How long have you ran the set-up? 2) Any issues with the front differential? 3) What brand tires did you use? Thanks everyone edwin
