  1. I got the answer of one of your question. The two radiators on top of the two side engine cooling radiator are condensor for the air conditionning. Try not to open any lines or you will have to get it refilled of refrigerant...

ahh thats good to know.. I won't open them.. sure makes it tight in there thou...

  2. I have a new radiator for the drivers side as the one in there is leaking all over...

So I have the front bumper off and the plastic housing around it.

The little radiator on top of the main rad is that the transmission?

Can I take it off without making more work for myself? It would make things easier.

Next how do I get the radiator out. I took the 3 clips off that hold it in but it won't slid enought to pop the ends out.

And then lastly what is the eaisiest way to get the top hose off? after I pop it out or disconnect it in the wheel well?

Should I clamp both the top and bottom hose so I don't get airlock in the lines?

sorry about all the questions I just don't want to make more work for myself and I don't want to break something..

if any ones has pics they could post that would be GREAT!!

    Thanks

    Ryan

  3. I don't think anything is wrong with rotors. They DO NOT pulsate at all so I am not sure.

Should you turn your rotors everytime you do brakes? Caus he said she doesn't turn brakes just puts on brand new rotors...

Which brakes would be best for performance. I mostly just drive it around town but I drive pretty aggresive...

  4. I need to put new brakes on my 911 Turbo.

    Should I take it in?

I have done many break jobs on My mustangs but not sure if I should do this or not.

I have heard to go OEM new rotors and pads everytime. What do you guys think???

is it a big job bleeding these things after breaks are done??

    Thanks

    Ryan

  5. My front drivers radiator is leaking.

I am wondering if I could change this myself or if I should bring it in.

I have heard it is hard to do. Is this true?

I know you have to take of the front bumper but that can't be to bad.

The part I am unsure of is once I switch it out they said I have to put a vacum at the back and get the fluid threw it or something... is this true?? won't it burp itself?

  6. Okay updates:

I changed the spark plug (OEM Porsche Units)

I purchased a code reader (durametric)

No codes and with new plugs it still does the same thing, I am narrowing it down to around 3000 rpm and 3500 rpm those two point the car will loose power that it feels like I took my foot off the gas completely.

I have a 2002 911 turbo I had the EXACT same thing at 4000 RPM.

I had the sparkplugs changed and a tune up and its as good as gold now. To bad that didn't fix yours :(

  7. Usually when you get P0300 you get another code as P0300 is a sum total of misfires.

    Possible fault cause

    ♦ Fault in ignition system

    ♦ Fault in injection system

♦ Flat-base tappets (valve lift fault)

    ♦ Mixture too rich

    ♦ Mixture too lean

    ♦ Mechanical causes

YES it could be plugs or coil packs and Check for leaks in the vacuum system! Did you figure out when the plugs were last replaced and what they are?

    hi the other codes were

    P0301 P0303 P0305 P0304

    all cylinder misfire.

I wouldn't doubt if the spark plugs are all orginal. before I did the computer performance upgrade the car had no issues at all.....

  8. Get the codes read! Report them back here. When was the last time you changed plugs? What plugs are you using? My guess is plugs or coil packs, but getting the codes will help with diagnosis.

ok I will get my brothers code reader today and post codes....

I noticed this morning it will do the pause thing in every gear well 1,2,3 at 3800 - 4000 RPM when it is full throttle only. 3/4 throttle is normal...

Ok so I get error PO300 Random Misfire Detected at 4250 RMP

    So does that mean plugs??

  10. Hey All

I recently put in the Softronic ECM upgrade and I do notice a big difference in power but I also have a side affect.

It is a 2002 911 Turbo all stock except for new divertor valves haha. It had no issues at all before. The car has crazy power but when it hits like 1.1 BAR in 2nd gear tiptronic it like lags and cuts power at 4000 rpm and then 2 or 3 seconds later continues on. So odd, I don't know what to check. The service engine light also flashes when this happens.

Please help... I am using 94 octane gas.

    Ryan
