  1. Hello, My old man and I are a bit confused as to who has the last 993. Seinfeld has his car custom ordered as we did and his vin was wp0aa2998ws321327. Ours is wp0aa2992ws321341. Wouldn''t that indicate that ours is 14 cars newer than the one that is supposed to be the "LAST"? Maybe that''s why he sold his and was just waiting for us to trade ours in. Anyway, I don''t mean to start a big controversy or anything bit I am really interested to see if this is the last body ever produced of the 993. We were also told that 2 of each model were made just before this one and put away in their museum which would explain the difference in numbers on the vin between ours and Seinfeld''s. Ours took a while to get since my dad always wanted a 911 and custom ordered a bunch of stuff on it. He has stainless door jams, stainless exhaust, rear seat delete, racing seats, brakes, turbo wheels, premium sound, and a few other factory custom options put in this car. It says this car was mfg dec of 97 and delivered mar of 98. Our dealer which we have had a good relationship with and purchased several cars from over the years got real quiet about this car once we asked him about it. No response to our inquiry as to the late vin. Perhaps they were told to shut up so Seinfeld didn''t get pissed when he found out he didn''t have the first and the last. Should we get this car documented or something? We have just over 5 K on this car and want to know if we should continue to take it out a few times a year to enjoy it or put it in bubble wrap. If you need any more info on this car please let me know. Nicholas K. storm6490@bresnan.com I appreciate all your help!
